Metro Kidz
High energy outreach team brings a mobile stage into Atlanta housing projects and offers games, music, live entertainment, prizes, candy and most importantly, the Gospel message.
They say that if you don't change the direction of a child in the inner-city of America by the time he is 11 years old, that child will most likely end up in jail, drugs, or dead before they reach thier early 20's. In Atlanta that is not just a saying but a fact. Children as young as 10 years old will be seen selling drugs on the street corner, dropping out of school to make a couple of bucks. Metro Kidz aims at reaching those kids with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. During the summer months Metro Kidz will head to 4 different projects a week bringing candy, games, music, contests, and lots of love to hundreds of children. Alongside the outreach program, site pastors visit with each child during the week establishing long lasting relationships and much needed mentoring and disciplship.
